  Very friendly people, stunning views from the ocean front balcony,centrally located to many stores and restaurants. The unit itself however was not at all clean. I was very disappointed by this. The pillows were all slobber stained and God knows what else. I was so grossed out by that. The kitchen was not at all clean either. We didn't use anything in the condo we had to go and buy our own things to use. It saddens me that rentals like these in a resort town aren't ordered or inspected to keep this places up to par. We all travel a distance to have a vacation and it's difficult to settle in after such a long drive. I won't down talk the owner or the condo but I wouldn't return to this particular place. I suggest Arcadian inspect better before allowing an owner to rent our their units. It was quite gross.
  And after a 10 hour drive we couldn't get into our unit because the communication from property management didn't leave our packet in the lock box. Took a few hours with the help of a resident and the female maintenance worker we found to look for our packet.

    We apologize that you were not completely satisfied with your stay. We are sorry that you had trouble checking into the unit, on Sundays when the office is closed we leave packets with the security officer, they come in at check in time which is 4pm. We were not made aware that you would be attempting to check in a few hours early. We do find it very surprising that you found the unit to be dirty as the owner had just left and our owners typically pre clean before leaving, further more we had one of our best housekeepers here that day and they always receive great reviews. However, had you had notified us of any issues that you found in the unit we certainly would have corrected them right away.

  The grounds and staff are wonderful.Grounds,pool are very clean. Great location. We stayed at PHE which we must say does need updates,could use new countertops,appliances bathtubs etc.Friends stayed on 6th floor and their unit was beautiful you would've thought that was the PH.We were stunned PHE didn't even have beach chairs.We thank owners Sam and Amy from 12C for offering chairs for us to use. I would definitely stay there again but would go into a different unit.

  Our vacation stay was great! Arcadian One is a secluded area of the beach that is not overly crowded like the Hilton or Seawatch. Things seemed back to normal after the pandemic. This being said, restaurants were understaffed and most places were not accepting customers after 8:00. Golfing including top golf was great.

  Love that this condo has not only a queen bed in the guest room, but also bunkbeds. This was extremely helpful as all the 3 bedrooms were booked up. This condo slept 8 Comfortably. We enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back.

  We had a nice time and was impressed at the view we had on the top floor of the building. Great access to the pool, beach and The Hilton saltwater pool next door. Quiet area north of Myrtle Beach. Security was very nice and helpful.

  Arcadian is always a great place to stay. As I have been coming since childhood. This unit was no different. Unit was nicely furnished. Great view from the top. The Nest temperature control needed recalibrated as it didn’t cool effectively. Pool bathroom is clean. Wish check-in hadn’t been moved back 2 hours. Office staff is always polite. Maintenance staff too. Super close to outlet shopping and short drive to Barefoot Landing.

  We were told that the pool would be finished with repairs, but for half of our vacation we were kicked out of the pool for hours each day. Kids who are having fun in the pool are never happy to be told that they have to leave.
  We have been coming to the Arcadian for 35 years and I was disappointed this year with the cleanliness of the rooms. There was thick mold growing all over the Curtains in our living room. I expect the rooms to be cleaned as well as one would expect in a hotel room. From what I heard and saw from others’ rooms as well, this is absolutely not the case and is unsanitary.
  Also, many of the rooms need to be updated. Our room was nice, but other family members were in various rooms in the building that I witnessed. For the price of the units, I would expect nicer amenities in many of them. I don’t think you can justify the cost for rooms that haven’t been updated for 30 years.
  Lastly, I asked several days ago that someone call me about some of the above issues and I was told that management would call me back to discuss a discount. No one ever called.

    Hi Sarah thanks for the feedback. I regret that you did not bring these items to our attention while you were here staying with us and afford us the opportunity to correct any issues. I have notations on where you came into the office upset about the pool but no mentions were made about the cleanliness of the unit. We can only rectify those issues that we are made aware of. I understand being upset over intermittent closure of the pool. We tried to keep the closures to a minimum as we have been under a building repair project. We take the safety of our guests and owners very seriously and would not risk your well being by allowing the pool to remain open while swing stages were being utilized. We have several different condos at different price points. Some condos may not be as "updated" or renovated as others and are offered at a lower price point.
